The Hourglass Door

The Hourglass Door by Lisa Magnum

This is one of my favorite books in the entire world, although it probably helps if you know some Italian like I do.... you will see mia donna de luche a lot in the book and it means my lady of light. This book is kind of like a mystery-romance-fiction sort of thing. Abby Edmunds had her whole life planned ahead of her, get into a good college, have a good boyfriend, and hang with her best friends. Abby didn't know that she was about to meet a person named Dante Alexander that would change the course of her life forever. She finds herself becoming friendly with the new Italian foreign exchange student, but also cautious. He is very secretive, he talks nothing about his friends, family, or past. Abby is about to find out that curiosity killed the cat, or possibly endangered time forever.

Lisa Magnum is an extremely wonderfully talented author. Once you start reading her magical and alluring tale, you might loose track of time. Definitely a five star book and one of the best series that I have ever read.

Read the Back of the Book:

Abby Edmunds’s senior year of high school is going according to plan: good friends, cute boyfriend, and college applications in the mail. But when Dante Alexander, foreign-exchange student from Italy, steps into her life, he turns it upside down. He’s mysterious, and interesting, and unlike anyone she’s ever met before. Abby can’t deny the growing attraction she feels for him. Nor can she den y the unusual things that seem to happen when Dante is around. Soon Abby finds herself drawn into a mystery whose roots reach into sixteenth-century Florence, and she uncovers a dangerous truth that threatens not only her future but the lives of those she loves.
